The Admitting Clerk ensures that all functions related to the registration of patients are completed in an efficient manner ensuring that all necessary information, authorizations, copayments and signatures are obtained.
The Admitting clerk is responsible for the appropriate placement of patients in order to maximize bed utilization, promotes customer service through active communication, understanding the needs and concerns, and providing resolution with tact, diplomacy and sensitivity.
